Trap (Down the Line)
The traditional DTL shooting includes a layout which is set up with 5 stands in a crescent shape 15 Meter from a traphouse which throws a target between 0 and 22.5 degrees to either side of a centre Line. The Target are set to land 46 Metres from the traphouse. The average speed for a clay target leaving the traphouse is usually between 60 Mph.
Double Rise
This is a Variation on Traditional DTL where two targets are released simultaneously on set angles.
Ball Trap
The Traphouse is lower to below Ground Level. Targets are set with a throwing elevation of 2 metres at 10 metres and 45 degrees to either side of a centre Line. The Target are set to land 75 Meter from the traphouse
Tower
The traphouse is 10 metres above the ground, mounted on a tower. Targets are thrown at up to 22 degrees either side of the centre line. Tower targets are thrown 75 metres
Skeet
Skeet shooting is a recreational and competitive activity where participants, using shotguns, attempt to break clay disks automatically flung into the air from two fixed stations (High House and Low House) at high speed from a variety of angles. As shown on diagram by the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8.
